Special Projects: Hong Kong 2007 - 2008: Bruce Lee's former home

In 1971 Bruce Lee and his family returned to Hong Kong after living in the U. S. for 12 years. In November 1972, after living in a small apartment with his wife and 2 children, he purchased this home in Kowloon with the proceeds of the $25K cancellation clause from a tv series he had developed and was going to star in back in the states, it was called "Kung Fu". July 2008: After serving many years as a love hotel, the house and land have been donated by it's current owner Yu Panglin, a real estate tycoon, to the government of Hong Kong, and it's to be turned into a museum. There is a stipulation: the land needs to be rezoned so that a 25,000 sq ft building can be built. Hopefully this will move forward in a positive way.
